I walked away...

I was so happy we were together at last it was all going to fall into place..... Or so I thought..... They started the rumors they spread like wildfire..... And they killed me just the same..... It was that night when I cracked... And broke... And the rest kept tumbling after... One of them acted like he cared..... He didn't..... He threatened to tell you all fo my true thoughts..... I got scared..... Would you hate me? Would you feel the same way?

Would you take my hand and do the exact thing I wanted you so badly to do? I didn't know..... Later that night when i was feeling like some of me had come back..... You came and sat next to me..... I wanted so badly to tell you how I felt..... So I did..... You told me not to cry but the tears came anyway..... I told you how much I cared about you and was afraid of losing you... You didn't show any sign of affection or real emotion... Which made me cry more..... Then I told you that I also wondered if you felt the same way..... I walked away.....
